Cross-border street orchestra from The Hague
Eigen Hulp is a cross-border street orchestra from The Hague, the Netherlands. A colourful group of twenty musicians with wind instruments and percussion. We play music from all over the world. Jazzy improvisations and own compositions and arrangements give the orchestra’s sound it’s unique colour.
Street festivals, markets and all kinds of cultural events and manifestations
In all the years of our existence we performed at street festivals, markets and all kinds of cultural events and manifestations but also in orphanages, retirement homes, homes for disabled people and prisons.
Every year we make a music tour abroad in an European country. In previous years we visited more than twenty countries in all corners of Europe. From Macedonia and Istanbul to Scotland. And from Riga to Bilbao.
